Dive Safari Itinerary Day 1. We will pick you up at your hotel and take you to our office to pick up rentals and to secure your valuables. We then head to our dive boat. Breakfast is served while cruising to the first dive site, the 'Los Islotes' sea lion colony. Afterwards we head to our first campsite on Islas Espiritu Santo. Day 2. We leave in the early morning to Las Animas, a small isolated island surrounded with healthy reefs, islets, and seamounts. Hammerhead sharks, sea lions, and numerous pelagic species such as tuna, jacks, and marlins are often encountered. Day 3. We dive at nearby San Dieguito Reef, a superb shallow water dive with colorful reefs, caves, sea fans, reef fish, invertebrates such as sea horses, and occasionally manta rays. We return to the San Jose Island campsite. Day 4. We head south to the El Bajo Seamount, famous for schools of hammerhead sharks. This top of this superb seamount rests about 60' from the surface and is surrounded by nutrient rich water that supports an incredible variety and density of marine life. We return to Islas Espiritu Santo to camp in the afternoon. Day 5. We dive the last day at Cerralvo Island, the southern-most island in the Sea of Cortez. This Island has beautiful reef fishes, pelagic fish, a shipwreck, and frequently, giant Pacific manta rays. We depart to La Paz by 3:00 p.m. We take you to your hotels after stopping by our office to return rentals and to pick-up valuables.
